October 15 & 16, 22 & 23, 29 & 30

Seneca Park Zoo’s annual Halloween fundraiser, ZooBoo, begins October 15 and continues every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month. With a wide range of activities including trick-or-treat stations, costume parades, Scarecrow Village, fall treats for the animals and special surprises daily, ZooBoo is an experience the whole family will enjoy.

The Scarecrow Village located at the Event Tent will provide games, crafts, and other festivities for the family.

Animal mascots and other characters will also be on grounds to pose for photos and greet visitors. Costume parades are a new addition this year and will be held at 11am and 2pm daily.

In support of the Zoo’s conservation efforts in Borneo, sustainable palm oil and palm oil-free treats will be given to trick-or-treaters.  Additionally, a portion from the sale of every ZooBoo ticket will also be donated to Health in Harmony, a nonprofit organization that supports orangutans in their natural range.

This year, ZooBoo will also support the Teal Pumpkin Project by providing non-food treats at some of the stations. This project helps support children with severe food allergies and type 1 diabetes. All participating stations will have a teal pumpkin on the table.

ZooBoo tickets are only required for participating trick-or-treaters and can be used on any of the event dates. Visitors pay general admission plus $8.50 per trick-or-treater, or $7.50 online in advance. Zoo members receive a discount on ZooBoo event tickets, and admission for members is always free.

ZooBoo is held rain or shine and ticket sales are non-refundable and non-transferable. Learn more and buy advanced tickets at senecaparkzoo.org/zooboo
