Visit Rochester, the official tourism promotion agency for Monroe County, is the recipient of the 2021 ESSAE Associate Organization of the Year award.
ESSAE, or the Empire State Society of Association Executives, is a group of professional association executives employed by trade, business and professional associations, the majority of whom are based in New York State. Visit Rochester has been an active member of ESSAE for more than two decades.
The Associate Organization of the Year award recognizes an organization for its outstanding professionalism and exemplary service to the association community. Nominees can include venues, facilities, and/or other service organizations that have made significant contributions to ESSAE and its members through exceptional service to the association industry.

Visit Rochester and its staff are actively engaged with ESSAE, and volunteer on several different committees and events, including the ESSAE Trade Show and Membership committees. Visit Rochester is committed to the work of ESSAE, and is proud to support and contribute to ESSAE and its mission in ways big and small.
Visit Rochester received the Associate Organization of the Year award during ESSAE’s annual awards banquet, held March 16, 2022 in Albany, NY.
