Canandaigua, NY  (July 6, 2015)  The long, awaited day is here.  Roseland Wake Park, the first cable wake park in the Northeast opens today.  "We are thrilled.  This has been a multi-year planning project in the making", states Marketing Director, Drew Broderick.    The cable wake park at Roseland is a five tower system that can accommodate up to nine wakeboarders, wake skaters, knee boarders or water skiers at the same  time since the average speed is 18mph.  Along with the main tower system there is the Lil Bro Training Center, which is a two tower single tow bar set up which is the starting point for first timers and seasoned wakeboarders new to wakeboarding on a cable system.  The Learn to Ride package is only $49 and includes the equipment, lesson and ticket for the course.

"We are ecstatic to open the first wake park in New York state and the Northeast.   With the addition of Roseland Wake Park, Canandaigua, has evolved to the Adventure Capital of the Finger Lakes", exclaims, co-owner, Dan Fuller.

"The addition of Roseland Waterpark to the area allows local residents and visitors who do not have access to a boat to enjoy watersports in a fun, family oriented setting", states, Operations Manager, Kyle Dickman.  "The wake course includes a variety of jumps, rails and pipes for guests to hit.  In addition to the cable park we have the Aqua Glide, which is a floating obstacle course/jungle gym."

Roseland Wake Park  has a comprehensive rental and retail center which includes wake boards, life jackets, SUP boards, wet suits, tow bars and much more.

Roseland Wake Park will be holding its Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, July 11th, from 10am-8pm.  Pro Riders sponsored by Liquid Force will be putting on mini-shows during the afternoon, there will be music and free hot dogs for guests throughout the day.   The first 250 guests to check-in and create a profile will receive a free tee shirt.

The season will extend into October.
