Pole Position Raceway's Indoor Electric Kart Racing Facility Celebrates August's Motor Sports Awareness Month with Free Races for "Speedsters" Through Labor Day
ROCHESTER, NY (August 11, 2015) - Pole Position Raceway, America's leading chain of state-of-the-art indoor motorsports entertainment facilities - among the fastest karts on the east coast - today announced that in celebration of August's Motor Sports Awareness Month, it will once again offer one FREE race to motorists who were issued - and paid - a speeding ticket this summer.
Specifically, motorists who received a speeding ticket between Memorial Day (May 25) and Labor Day (September 7) will receive one FREE race at Pole Position Raceway facilities to help safely scratch their racing itch in its high-performance, all-electric, indoor karts capable of speeds up to 45 MPH. Valid driver's license and proof of ticket payment must be presented at time of redemption. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Limit one redemption per household. Participating Pole Position Raceway locations include Jersey City, NJ, Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester and Farmingdale, NY.
With millions of motorists traveling on the holiday weekends alone, drivers need to be extra attentive and obey the rules of the road. And since speeding is the one of the top driving offences, police often cite ticketing drivers that speed as their main priority in order to reduce the number of car crashes and injuries.
"We are excited to announce the return of our speeding ticket promotion to help celebrate August's Motor Sports Awareness Month in August," said Karen Davis-Farage, president and co-owner of the Pole Position Raceway venues in the East. "While we do not condone reckless driving, we had a number of racers ask about the promotion last year, so we decided to bring it back to allow those who have the need-for-speed, to put their pedal to the metal in our authentic, exhilarating and safe environment - not on the roadways during the busiest time of the year."
One of the fastest growing forms of recreation in the country, Pole Position Raceway offers a variety of options to suit the needs of all racers - from families, to die hard karting enthusiasts. Its "Arrive & Drive" racing is for those that enter a queue to race against others. Pre-Scheduled Racing events are for groups of 10+ and include the Pole Position Challenge, Grand Prix or Super Pole which are 2, 3 or 4 race events culminating with racers receiving 1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals at the Winners' Circle. In addition to side-by-side race action, Pole Position Raceway also features authentic racing memorabilia, arcade games, concessions and V.I.P spaces for private parties, personal celebrations, corporate events and fundraisers.
Pole Position Raceway has thirteen locations nationwide, including Buffalo, NY, Corona, CA, Dallas, TX, Farmingdale, NY (Long Island), Houston, TX, Jersey City, NJ, Las Vegas, NV, Murrieta, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, Rochester, NY, St. Louis, MO, Summerlin, NV and Syracuse, NY.
