A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS WILL HELP FUND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING
Black Button Distilling, Rochester, NY’s first and finest grain to glass craft distillery, in partnership with the New York Wine & Culinary Center, announce the launch of their collaborative spirit, Garden Gin, set for release on August 31st at the NYWCC Fourth Annual Garden Party.
Crafted specifically for the Garden Party annual fundraiser, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Garden Gin will fund educational programming, including NYWCC’s Culinary Camps for Kids program, which brings children from The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Rochester to the Center for one week to learn nutrition, culinary techniques, and team building.
“We love what the NYWCC does to bring unique New York products and educational programming to the community,” said Jason Barrett, Black Button Distilling President and Head Distiller. “This collaboration presented us with an opportunity to develop a London Dry style gin with tastes and inspiration from NYWCC’s garden. Garden Gin is yet another great example of the fine products and partnerships that are growing across Western New York and the Finger Lakes.”
“We’ve partnered with Black Button Distilling in the past and this is a great expansion of our relationship. The Center strives to build relationships with all facets of New York State products in as many ways possible,” said John Berndt, General Manager of the New York Wine & Culinary Center. “We are pleased and proud to work with Black Button Distilling to develop and release a special small batch gin that was created with flavors inspired by our garden.”
