2026 marks the 56th anniversary of the Rochester Puerto Rican Festival. Join us from July 30 through August 1 for three days of amazing live music, delicious food, cultural events, celebrity guests, and much more!

This year’s celebration takes place Thursday, July 30 through Saturday, August 1, 2025, at Parcel 5 (285 E Main St.) in downtown Rochester

  • The Parade

The Puerto Rican Parade Celebration returns to Downtown Rochester on Saturday, August 1, 2026! Experience a day filled with culture, music, movement, and community as we come together to celebrate Puerto Rican heritage and pride. The opening ceremony will take place at 10:00am with the parade beginning at 11:00am

 

Tickets & Access

  • Entry runs from 5 PM on Thursday July 31 through 11 PM  on Saturday August 1. Get your tickets here!

  • Admission tickets are available at the gate (prices may vary—check official listings), and kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Parade is Free for all to attend!

    • Whether you’re marching, cheering, or soaking in the sounds and colors of the day, the Puerto Rican Parade is a can’t-miss highlight of the summer. Bring your friends, family, and your Puerto Rican pride!

 

Festival Mission

The longest running ethnic festival in Western NY, the Rochester Puerto Rican Festival serves as a platform for Latino pride by connecting the community to cultural entertainment and enrichment opportunities. Puerto Ricans continue to be one of the largest growing Hispanic populations in New York State, and Monroe County and the City of Rochester are home to the second largest population of Hispanics in New York State.

Animals

Dogs/animals other than guide and service dogs are not permitted. 

Bicycles

Please walk, don’t ride your bike in any pedestrian area. 

Children

Individuals 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or an adult 16 years or older. Parents, guardians, or adults must accompany minors at all times. 

Parking

Puerto Rican Festival is held in downtown Rochester, NY. The Festival does not operate parking, but there are many surface lots and parking garages conveniently located near the festival venue. Fees vary.  

Important! Please read the signs before you park to be sure that parking is allowed. Many lots are private for their patrons only, and cars will be towed. The Festival cannot take any responsibility for people who park illegally.

East End Garage, 475 Main St. East, Rochester, NY. Special event parking rates apply. $7 pay upon entry to the garage Saturdays & Sundays. Weekdays, $7 pay upon entry starting at 3 p.m. (585) 275-4524 parking@rochester.edu. Use Scio St. entrance.

Midtown Garage Entrances are located on South Clinton Ave, Court St, and East Broad St. Event parking rate $7. Operated by Buckingham Properties. (585) 295-9500

City of Rochester On-Street Metered Parking – Parking meters are in service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Free after 6 p.m. and on weekends.

Pets/Animals

Animals other than guide and service animals are not permitted.
