It’s official: the nation's favorite Christmas Tree for 2026 is right here in Rochester, NY!
The Genesee Brew House’s iconic Genesee Keg Tree has snagged the #1 spot on Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice list of the Best Christmas Trees for 2026.
For the last 11 years, the Genesee Brew House has been creating their Keg Tree, a three-story tall Christmas tree comprised of more than 650 empty kegs and 25,000 lights. With an annual tree tree lighting including local food trucks, craft beer, and photo ops, this well-loved Rochester tradition is something the community looks forward to year after year, and this national recognition is well deserved!
