Visit Rochester, the official tourism promotion agency for Monroe County, is pleased to announce the promotion of Emma Quinn to Tourism & Events Coordinator.
In her new role, Quinn will play an active role in the development of the tourism and travel trade markets for Visit Rochester, including sales presentations, relationship cultivation and planning familiarization tours for tour operators. She will also create marketing collateral and support the development of marketing campaigns. Quinn will also work with the event services department, supporting the more than 200 meetings, conventions and sporting events that take place in Monroe County each year. Her responsibilities include providing on-site information and hospitality tables at visiting meetings, conventions, sports competitions and tournaments. She will also work to provide custom information to event attendees to enhance their experience while visiting Rochester and Monroe County.
Quinn first joined Visit Rochester in 2021 as Visitor Services & Accounting Specialist. In addition to her work with Visit Rochester, she serves as the Treasurer for Rochester Area Administrators of Volunteer Services and also volunteers on the planning committee for CollegeFest.
Quinn is a graduate of SUNY Brockport, where she earned a bachelor of science in in Recreation and Leisure Studies, with a concentration in tourism, as well as Monroe Community College, graduating with an associate degree in Applied Science, Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism. She resides in Ontario, NY.
