Visit Rochester, the official tourism promotion agency for Monroe County, is pleased to announce that Amber Brewer has been promoted to Event Services Manager.
In her new role, Brewer will provide customized event services for clients and groups meeting and hosting events in Rochester. Services include event enhancements, promotional materials and design, community connections, registration assistance, hospitality services and publicity assistance. She acts as a liaison to the visitor industry in Greater Rochester to upcoming conventions and conferences, referring partners and services to fit the needs of each individual group and organization.
In addition to her recent promotion, Brewer is also the recipient of the Member of the Year award by the Event Services Professionals Association (ESPA). The award recognizes an ESPA member who has been outstanding in his or her constant enthusiasm and support of both ESPA and the Convention Services Industry. This person is selected annually by the ESPA Board of Directors.
Brewer has been with Visit Rochester for 4 years, and brings more than 12 years of hospitality experience to the role. Brewer is an alumna of SUNY Plattsburgh. A Rochester-native, she now resides in Victor, NY, with her husband and three children.
