Visit Rochester, the official tourism promotion agency for Monroe County, is pleased to announce the addition of Kasia Ravenell to the team as Convention Sales Manager.
In this role, Ravenell is responsible for identifying, soliciting, and securing conventions, meetings, and events that bring overnight visitors to Monroe County. Her efforts will focus on business development and relationship building across key markets to support the area’s hospitality and tourism growth.
With more than eight years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kasia brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and proven success in sales and event coordination. Prior to joining the team, she served as Catering Sales Manager for Hampton & Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Seaport District where she led initiatives in catering sales, contract negotiation, forecasting, budgeting, and client relationship management, working collaboratively with culinary and service teams to deliver seamless, memorable events.
Ravenell recently completed the Women’s Leadership Program through the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Simons University Institute for Inclusive Leadership. She also holds a certification in Hospitality Digital Marketing from Cornell University. She resides in Pittsford, NY.
