Rochester to Host 2026 NCAA Women's Bowling Regional Championships

Top Collegiate Teams Compete for a Chance to Advance to the National Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 1, 2026 – Rochester will take center stage in collegiate athletics this week as ABC Gates Bowl hosts the National Collegiate Women's Bowling Regional Championships April 2-4. The tournament brings together the top five regional teams competing for a Regional title and the opportunity to advance to the National Championships the following weekend in Cleveland.

The event is made possible through a partnership between Roberts Wesleyan University, ABC Gates Bowl, and the NCAA – a collaboration that has brought the Regional Championship to Rochester for six consecutive years.

An estimated 75 student athletes, alongside coaches, family members, and fans are expected to visit Rochester for the three-day competition. Competing teams from Dominican University New York, Sam Houston State University, Maryville University, Vanderbilt University and Alabama A&M have traveled to Rochester for the National Collegiate Regional Championships.

Community members and supporters of women's collegiate athletics are encouraged to come out and cheer on the competitors as they compete for one of the sport's top regional honors.
