Rochester Ice Center to Welcome Up to 48 Teams from Across the Nation
Rochester, N.Y., March 18, 2026 – Following a competitive bid process, the Rochester Ice Center and Station 31 have been selected to host the 2027 USA Hockey Tier II Boys National Championship, scheduled for March 31 – April 4, 2027. The prestigious tournament will bring together 40 to 48 elite youth hockey teams – and an estimated 600 athletes – to compete for a national title.
With a rich hockey history, outstanding facilities and a supportive community, Rochester is a natural choice for a national championship of this caliber. Games will be played across Rochester Ice Center’s three NHL-sized ice rinks and at the Station 31 Ice Arena.
“We are ecstatic to host the USA Hockey Nationals in Rochester, NY. For years we’ve been passionately building the game here, and today Rochester is emerging as one of the premier hockey towns in the country,” said Chris Collins, VP of Corporate Development, Rochester Ice Center. “The Rochester Ice Center and Station 31 Ice Arena are ready to showcase our best—providing top-tier facilities, unwavering hospitality, and a championship environment for the 16U Tier II Nationals. We are excited to celebrate our growth, our community, and the players who embody the heart of hockey.”
