Visit Rochester, the official tourism promotion agency for Monroe County, is pleased to announce the addition of Autumn Graney to the team as Visitor Services Specialist.
In this role, Graney serves as the first point of contact at Visit Rochester's downtown Information Center, helping visitors navigate the region's attractions, events, and experiences. She also manages the Visitor Information Specialists stationed at the Greater Rochester International Airport, manages Visit Rochester volunteers at local festivals — including the Rochester Lilac Festival and Rochester International Jazz Festival – as well as college outreach events.
Graney previously served as Communications Assistant at Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford, where she managed social media content, edited press releases and event announcements, designed on-site signage, and produced daily event schedules for visitors. She also has prior public relations and marketing experience from an internship with The Borgen Project, where she developed a branding campaign and fundraising strategy for the non-profit, and brings additional customer service and client-facing experience from her long-time role at DiBella's Subs, where she managed catering logistics and sales.
Graney holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism & Communications from SUNY Brockport. She is currently a participant in the RETAIN program through CampusROC and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Chili, NY.
