Visit Rochester is proud to announce that Amanda Fox, CMP, Vice President of Events and Operations, has been named a 2024 Inductee into the Smart Women in Meetings Hall of Fame.
This recognition by Smart Meetings, the leading media company and most trusted resource for meeting professionals, acknowledges the impact Fox has made thus far in her career on the meeting, convention and event industry. As a member of the Hall of Fame, Fox serves as a role model for others in the in industry. As described by Smart Meetings, honorees “… contribute in unique ways to make the meetings and events industry a powerful force for good in the world.”

Having joined the Visit Rochester team in 2013 as a Convention Services Coordinator, Fox now oversees all aspects of servicing the many different events – including meetings, conventions and sporting events – that take place in Rochester. In her role, Fox strives to provide memorable experiences for every event attendee.
Fox is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and resides in the Rochester area with her family.
