Each year the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading, & Publishing (SHARP) holds an annual conference that brings scholars together for stimulating discussions of an enormously wide range of issues related to the history of authorship, reading and publishing. Panels allow scholars to learn about the newest research in their fields, while keynotes bring the SHARP community together across interests and periods. SHARP conferences are run locally, making each one unique not only in location but also in thematic content.

2025 NYS Biennial AOH-LAOH Convention
The Ancient Order of Hibernians is America’s oldest Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization founded concurrently in the coal-mining region of Pennsylvania and New York City in May,1836. The Order can trace its roots back to a series of similar societies that existed in Ireland for more than 300 years. The Ancient Order of Hibernians - Monroe County, NY Division 7 was organized in Rochester, New York in 1894. The Division was organized to assemble Irish Catholic men of the area in a spirit of Brotherhood and to foster a spirit of Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity. Here, the Irish culture — art, dance, music, and sports are fostered and preserved.

National Mastitis Council Regional Meeting
The NMC: The Global Milk Quality Organization is a not-for-profit professional organization devoted to reducing mastitis and enhancing milk quality. NMC: The Global Milk Quality Organization promotes research and provides information to the dairy industry on udder health, milking management, milk quality, and milk safety. NMC’s regional meeting is designed for all individuals interested in mastitis control, quality milk production and udder health. Attendees include veterinarians, dairy producers, researchers, extension specialists, industry suppliers, dairy processor field representatives, regulatory officials, teachers and students. The meeting features world-renowned presenters who will address a variety of milk quality production principles and offer hands-on strategies to improve udder health.

2025 NYS American Legion Baseball Championship
American Legion Baseball is a youth baseball program sponsored by the American Legion, the largest U.S. veteran’s organization. The purpose of the program is to teach young Americans the importance of sportsmanship, good health and active citizenship. The program is also a promoter of equality, making teammates out of young athletes regardless of their income levels or social standings.
