Gather family and friends for an outdoor adventure throughout several unique areas of the Museum! Explore maple history, fresh pancakes and syrup, live music, handcrafted goods, hands-on activities, sweet and savory seasonal treats, storytelling, and more!

Visitors can enjoy steaming-hot stacks of locally-sourced pancakes inside the nature center before heading outdoors for trail demonstrations that explore the science of sap and the long cultural history of tapping maple trees in our region.

Maple Weekend is back at Kettle Ridge Farm! The barn will be open from 9am - 2pm on a first come first serve basis. Noble Shepherd Craft Brewery will be in attendance selling KettleJuice with some other high quality brews available as well.

$9.99 for unlimited maple crepes. Bonus: the guest who eats the most crepes during their visit at their location and the champion at the end of the week will win free crepes for a year! 

MAPLE WEEKEND 

March 21 & 22 | Helmer Nature Center

Come walk the trails as the team takes you through the sugaring process. Help collect sap and stop at the evaporator to watch it cook into syrup. Enjoy a delicious meal including all you can eat pancakes and real, made on-site maple syrup. The Pancake Brunch is a long-standing Irondequoit tradition! New this year: blacksmith demonstrations with Jonathan Bernard.
