The classic downtown fireworks extravaganza is back! The Broad Street Bridge & Court Street Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic for pedestrian viewing. Bring your friends and a chair!
Fleet Feet Firecracker 4 Mile
July 4 | Perinton Park
This year’s race on the 4-mile course on the roads of Fairport. Starting on the corner of Whitney and O'Connor and finishing in Perinton Park.
Town of Greece - Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration
July 4 | Town of Greece
The event will include a 5K, food trucks, family activities, live music and fireworks.
Town of Henrietta - 4th of July Celebration
July 4 | Veterans Memorial Park
Activities begin at 4pm and fireworks start at 9:45pm! This event includes children's activities, live music, local food vendors & food trucks.
Town of Irondequoit - 4th of July Festival
July 3-4 | Town Hall
Activities for this year's festival span 2 days and include children's activities and food trucks, and a 10K and 2 mile fun run the second day followed by a craft fair and market and concluding with the town's parade at 11:00 a.m.
Town of Penfield Parade + Fireworks
June 28 | Harris Whalen Park
The Penfield Independence Day parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 28 with a fireworks show launching from Harris Whalen Park at 10:00 p.m.

Featuring live music and food stands starting at 4:00 p.m. with the firework display starting at 10:00 p.m.

Craft a popsicle magnet, create a cardboard tube bald eagle, and design a glittery handprint firework.
July 4 | The Strathallan
Spend the 4th of July on the 9th floor at Hatties with the best views of the Rochester Fireworks display. Silent Disco will run from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, with the downtown firework display starting at 10:00 p.m.
July 4 | Brighton High School
Join this yearly tradition in Brighton! As part of the Town of Brighton July 4th celebration, we will kick off the day with the Brighton 4th of July 5K at Brighton High School. This is a flat and fast 5K fit for the whole family!

Join Genesee Country Village & Museum’s beloved Independence Day Celebration—where history comes to life and community takes center stage. Enjoy a full day of patriotic fun, immersive experiences, and good old-fashioned revelry. Bonus: kids 12 & under get in free!
