As one of Rochester's favorite summer arts festival, the 51st Annual Corn Hill Arts Festival presented by ESL Federal Credit Union features over 365 original arts and craftspeople set over nine streets in the historic Corn Hill neighborhood. Visitors can stroll and shop, relax in one of two beer and wine gardens and listen to music from one of four stages. Family friendly, the Corn Hill Art Festival features the 7th Annual Fairy Houses Tour, climbing structures, bounce houses, and more! There’s food trucks galore and your favorite festival foods.

Here are four things you won't want to miss during the 51st Annual Corn Hill Arts Festival this July 13-14, 2019.

The Artists & Emerging Artists Expo

The artists are at the heart of the Corn Hill Arts Festival! 365 artists fall within the following categories: consumable crafts; jewelry; mixed media and other; painting, drawings, and graphics; photography; pottery and ceramics; sculpture and glass; textile, weaving, and leather; woodworking.

In its 11th year, the Emerging Artist Expo, presented by MVP Health Care, gives young artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their creations. The Corn Hill Neighbors Association initiated this event to support young artists and give them “real-life” experience in a festival setting. Nineteen, up-and-coming artists participate in this event from neighboring high schools, colleges, and the community at large.

Family Festival Fun

Families will enjoy the Community & Family Fun Area located off Adams Street, with many free and low-cost activities that will provide entertainment for kids of all ages. A major highlight of the festival is the annual Fairy Houses Tour—inspired by Tracy Kane’s Fairy Houses book series. The tour allows kids to explore more than 40 creatively designed, miniature fairy houses, as well as meet a real wish-granting fairy with pixie dust.

Additional family activities include:

  • Flower City Arts Center Lego Printmaking

  • Rochester Sioelen Club Game Play

  • Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventure

  • Bounce Houses

  • Spin Art

  • RFD Fire Safety House

  • Roscoe, the Clown

  • Rochester Urban Sketchers

  • I Love New York's Mobile Visitor Center
