Did you know that tourism is a significant economic driver in Monroe County generating an economic impact of over a billion dollars a year? It is also responsible for creating nearly 20,000 tourism-related jobs in our area. Decades of data show that destination recommendations for meetings, conventions, conferences, and sporting competition play an important role in bringing these events to our community. 

That's why we would love for you to "recommend" Rochester! The Recommend Rochester program is an initiative developed by Visit Rochester, the official tourism promotion agency of Monroe County, to help fuel the process of bringing new events to Rochester, NY.
