Corning Museum of Glass

Offering a unique opportunity to see glass in a new light, the Corning Museum of Glass features the stunning Contemporary Art + Design Wing, live hot glassmaking demos, Make Your Own Glass experiences, hands-on glass technology exhibits, and the world’s largest collection of contemporary and historical glass. Open daily, Kids and teens, 17 and under are always FREE. Adult admission is $20. AAA/CAA, Military, College Student, and 62+ receive a 15% discount ($17). Local residents receive a 50% discount. Blue Star Museum, free admission for active military and their families from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day. Free admission for Veterans all November, plus 15% discount for their party.  Open daily 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Extended seasonal hours Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, 9:00 am until 8:00 pm.

  • Description The Corning Museum of Glass is home to the world’s most comprehensive and celebrated collection of glass. The self-guided tour of the Museum begins in the Contemporary Art + Design Galleries, the world’s largest space dedicated to the display of contemporary art and design in glass, and continues through the Innovation Center, which offers an interactive look at the way new discoveries in glass have changed the world. It continues on to the 35 Centuries of Glass Galleries, showcasing more than 3,500 years of glass works in the Museum's collection, and the Contemporary Glass Gallery featuring works from 1975-2000. The tour includes Hot Glass Demos, live narrated demonstrations of hot glassblowing offered all day, every day.
