Open Map Blurred Map

Join us for the last day of our Regular Season on Monday, October 11!

What better way to celebrate autumn than with Apples, Apples, Apples! On Monday, October 11, we’ll have activities, talks, crafting, and demonstrations all day in the Historic Village and Nature Center. This is also one of the last days to visit the John L. Wehle Gallery for the year and take in the exhibits Nature’s Chain, Fan Favorites, both of which will be replaced with a new and exciting exhibition in 2022!

In the Historic Village, you can see an apple press in action, explore Historic Kitchens to experience foods bring prepared using apples, learn about drying apples, and more. We’ll have a variety of heirloom apples on display, and visitors can learn about the history of the crop in NY State and what kinds of apples are produced in orchards in this region. And don't forget to explore our apple orchards around the Museum grounds - the perfect place for a fall family photo! Don't miss our very last day of the 2021 regular season on Monday, October 11, and get outside to enjoy one of New York’s finest products: APPLES!

As a special bonus, kids 12 and under are FREE on this day! Explore all things "apples" in the Historic Village - for FREE! Don't miss this last Kids Free Day of the 2021 season, and bring out the whole family for a day of fall fun.
