It's time to break out the wine glasses and uncork the bottles because May 25, 2018, is National Wine Day! We can't think of a better place to celebrate this holiday than in one of the world's premier wine regions. New York State boasts some of the best wines in the United States--with more than 100 of its wineries located in the Finger Lakes Region.
Did you know? The Finger Lakes wineries are all within a 90‐minute drive of Rochester and produce 85 percent of New York State wines.
Explore the "Sonoma of the East" by visiting a few of the following hot spots:
-
Goose Watch Winery
-
Swedish Hill Vineyard
Taste your way around some of the wine trails--Canandaigua Wine Trail, Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, Keuka Lake Wine Trail, Lake Ontario Wine Trail, ROC/FLX Craft Beverage Trail, Seneca Lake Wine Trail--by booking a wine tour with Crush Beer & Wine Tours or Portage Tours.
