2020 Halloween Events in Rochester

Make a plan for a safe Halloween celebration this year. Check out our list of events taking place on and around Halloween 2020 in Rochester, NY. 
 
  • A Night of Edgar Allan Poe at Genesee Country Village & Museum, October 28. Spend a night before Halloween enjoying some spine-tingling chills as we explore the master of the macabre, Edgar Allan Poe. Purchase tickets for Thursday, 10/28 here.

  • Film showings of Hocus Pocus and The Rocky Horror Picture Show at OFC Creations Theatre Center, October 31. Both films will be shown on October 31st at the new OFC Creations Theatre Center (3450 Winton Place, Rochester NY 14623). Tickets to each showing are $10 and are available online at www.OFCCreations.com or by calling the box office at 585-667-0954. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

  • Zoo Boo at Seneca Park Zoo, October 31. Don your favorite costumes and get your timed tickets to visit the Zoo for ZooBoo Spooktacular Tour. Timed tickets are available for Saturday, October 31. Purchase tickets and more info here

  • Family Fun Day: Tricks & Treats at Rochester Museum & Science Center, October 31. Visit RMSC on Halloween for some fun science tricks and delicious treats. Come in costume and explore your favorite RMSC exhibits while stopping at trick or treat stations around the museum. Make slime, watch spooky science demos, and collect candy for some safe, Halloween fun. Purchase tickets here

  • Visit the farm. Rochester area farms are open for fall fun Halloween weekend! Spend the day at Long Acre, Stokoe or Wickham Farms with family and friends. Advance sale tickets are required and recommended. 

  • Halloween Games at Veracity VRcade, October 31. Get fully immersed in scary and spooky experiences with special Halloween virtual reality games at Veracity. Reserve games here
