Visit Rochester is pleased to announce that Amber Brewer has joined the organization as Event Service Specialist.
When a convention, conference or competition decides to hold a future event in Rochester and Monroe County, the Visit Rochester Event Services team steps into action.
In her new position, Brewer aids in providing customized event services for the various meetings, conventions and sports competitions that occur in Rochester. Brewer will work closely with the Director of Event Services to create custom event services packages for individual clients and events, plan client site visits, lead pre and post-convention meetings with community partners and more. Brewer will act as a liaison to the visitor industry in Greater Rochester to upcoming conventions and conferences, referring partners and services to fit the needs of each individual group and organization.
Brewer brings more than eight years of hospitality experience to her new position, having most recently worked at Ravenwood Golf Club as an event coordinator. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of event planning at the golf club, including corporate and social events.
Brewer earned a B.S. in Childhood Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. A Rochester-native, she now resides in Victor, NY, with her husband Tim and son, Weston.
