New York Association of Future Farmers of America Convene in Rochester

Visit Rochester is pleased to welcome the New York Association of Future Farmers of America (FFA) to Rochester for the group’s annual state convention.

As part of the state convention, more than 1,500 FFA members, advisors and guests from across the state will convene in Rochester. During the convention, attendees will participate in educational sessions from peers and agricultural professionals, expand their knowledge during workshops and tours exploring different fields in the agricultural industry, and network with agricultural business professionals and colleges during the Career Engagement Expo.

While meeting in Rochester, the student group will engage in several different community service and give-back programs. These community service programs include: meal packing for Meals of Hope, volunteering with the EquiCenter, volunteering at Foodlink, an agricultural literacy program through Rochester City Schools, participation in a habitat for humanity program, a “clean sweep” program at the Rochester Public Market and Maplewood Park and more.

FFA Convention activities will take place in the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center, the Blue Cross Arena, downtown hotels and in various parts of the community through the convention giveback program.

The conference is not open to the public and is exclusively for New York FFA attendees.
