Day 1
Afternoon arrival in Rochester.
Visit the Strong National Museum of Play also home to the National Toy Hall of Fame. The museum just completed a multi million dollar expansion which includes a butterfly garden, food court and many interactive exhibits
Check into hotel. Welcome Reception.
Evening Dinner at La Tea Da Victorian Tea Room followed by entertainment at Downstairs Cabaret Theatre or Dinner-theatre at the Rochester Museum & Science Center.
Day 2
Breakfast at Hotel or enjoy Breakfast with the Animals at the Seneca Park Zoo where you will enjoy a full breakfast followed by a private tour of the Zoo. The zoo is located in one of the finest nature preserves in our county & the fall color is abound.
Tour George Eastman House & International Museum of Photography & Film (allow 1 ¼ hour for tour).
Visit Wegmans Gourmet Supermarket for a brief shop-stop (allow 1 hour). Based here in Rochester, Wegmans, north Americas most well known gourmet market dates back to 1916. Feast your eyes on the delicacies tantalizingly displayed through out the international section.
Lunch in the quaint village of Fairport at the Harbor House or lunch on own.
The fall colors are brilliant along the Erie Canal. Cruise the canal aboard the Colonial Belle in Fairport, NY. Board the Boat at Packetts Landing in Fairport. Coach heads to Schoen Place in Pittsford to pick-up the tour group. The tour goes through a lock during the cruise.
Return to hotel for R & R
Watch the harvest moon over Lake Ontario during your evening dinner at Crescent Beach. Mini lights adorn the colorful fall garden surrounding this popular restaurant.
Day 3
Breakfast in Hotel
Check out of Hotel
Drive alone the Ridge Road passing the many fruit orchards lining Lake Ontario. Visit Ridge Road Station in Holly, NY for a fantastic shop-stop at one of North America's most fascinating Christmas Stores. Collectibles and toys from around the world are featured throughout the store.
Just a short drive to Waterport, NY along the picturesque Ridge Road to visit Browns Berry Patch. Pick a bag of apples, visit the petting zoo or shop in their newly expanded Country Store. The ice cream is home made. Stop for lunch in their café or stop at the historic Village Inn in Childs dating back to 1824 on route to your destination. The Cobblestone Museum Complex is right next door if time permits. Blacksmith Shop, Farmers Hall, Cobblestone Church and Cobblestone School.
Note:This is a suggested tour and can be reversed depending on the origin of your tour. Other areas of interest could include Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion now a New York State Park, Letchworth State Park, & Genesee Country Village & Museum.
