Featuring artifacts from many of Rochester’s cultural and educational institutions, the exhibition explores the role Rochester’s women–and men–played in the women’s rights and woman suffrage movements of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Featured items include Susan B. Anthony’s dress, Martha Matilda Harper’s prototype for the original salon shampoo chair, a Bloomer outfit, a variety of suffrage banners, pendants, and flyers, and so much more! Best of all, the exhibition is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
