Roisin Dubh

Roisin Dubh ("Ro-sheen dove"; The Black Rose) is a unique music program (East Rochester High School) that performs the traditional music of Ireland in authentic traditional and contemporary styles. Since 2001, Roisin Dubh has performed more than 300 times, released four albums, and shared the stage with some of the top Irish musicians from our region and the world. Roisin Dubh was one of only four student ensembles from the U.S invited to perform at the National Music Student Leadership Conference in Salt Lake City, and has been heard on NPR's famous Thistle and Shamrock. 2 hours, with one 10-min intermission.
