RIT Performing Artists Concert Series: The Neave Trio
The Neave Trio
Hailed by critics as "brilliant", the Neave is truly an international trio with American Anna Williams (violin), Russian Mikhail Veselov (cello), and Japanese Eri Nakamura (piano). They have enjoyed world-wide success, performing across the United States, South America, the UK, and Europe in some of the world’s finest concert series and venues including Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall in New York City, The New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall, Kodak Hall at Rochester's Eastman Theatre, Rockport Chamber Music Festival, Norfolk and Norwich Chamber Music Series (United Kingdom), and the Samoylov and Rimsky-Korsakov Museums' Chamber Music Series in St. Petersburg (Russia).
According to Steven Ledbetter of the Boston Musical Intelligencer, the Neave performs with both energy and elegance with the kind of ensemble and expressive dialog found only in renowned chamber groups of long standing.
This coming fall, the Trio will join the faculty of the Longy School of Music at Bard College as an Ensemble-in-Residence.
This will be the trio's third appearance at RIT.
