RIT: LIVE TO PICTURE

Empire Film and Media Ensemble and the Rochester Institute of Technology Department of Performing Arts and Visual Culture present RIT: LIVE TO PICTURE, a film showcase celebrating the collaboration between filmmakers and composers in Rochester. Featuring films and original scores of students, faculty, and alumni of both Rochester Institute of Technology and the Eastman School of Music, RIT: LIVE TO PICTURE presents the long standing collaboration keeping Flower City on the silver screen. This concert, the first of its kind in Rochester, features short films played live to picture by full orchestra. The films span themes from the thrill of robot romance to the thrill of nature, dystopian futures to dystopian retirement homes. Selections include works by RIT professors Stephanie Maxwell, Jonathan Kruger, Tom Davis, Ryan Gaynor, and students, Garrett Reynolds, Shoghi Hayes, Max Berlin, and more.
