Music Director Ward Stare opens the Orchestra’s 96th season with Berlioz’s dashing Roman Carnival Overture. Internationally-acclaimed pianist Yefim Bronfman returns to perform Prokofiev’s virtuosic Second Piano Concerto. One of the most famous and beloved symphonies of all time, Dvorák’s "From the New World" was inspired by his visit to America and exposure to Native-American and African-American music.
