As the nation celebrates the centennial of a woman’s right to vote, Ekstasis celebrates women’s creativity with a program called “Women’s Voices: Fierce women composers from the 19th and 20th Centuries.” The concert includes works by Louise Farrenc, Clara Schumann, and Ethel Smyth, and song transcriptions of Nina Simone.
