Free Summer Concert Series to benefit local charities

We are holding a five-week event fundraiser for various charities that aid those in need dealing with all aspects of homelessness in the Rochester Community. These groups are:

Brighton Churches Coalition Habitat for Humanity - Combined effort of Brighton Churches to build a house in the inner City - raise money and build every five years.

RAIHN - Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network - provides housing and counsel for homeless families.

Cameron Community Ministries is an inner city building/program providing meals, after school programs and vacation programs. This is an on-going interfaith ministry supported by multiple congregations. They have a clothing outlet as well

Fairport Baptist Home - is an ABC affiliated nursing and rehab center in Fairport NY. The Baptist Temple has been a long time supporter of the home.

Brighton Food Cupboard is in First Baptist Church.

We are putting forth a series of five free (donations accepted) concerts starting Friday, June 30th at 6 p.m. Half of all money given goes to each of the above selected charities as they are matched up to one of the concerts. Five performances, five charities. The other 1/2 goes to our not for profit organization to offset the costs to us of running the program and advertising these shows.
