Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley

“an evening of antic laughter…” – The New York Times

You don’t need much more than three sisters, a kitchen, and some outlandish actions (such
as making a pitcher of lemonade immediately after shooting your husband) to populate a good ol’ Southern Gothic tragicomedy. Yet playwright Henley has included some truly heart-wrenching backstories in her Pulitzer Prize-winning play, all of which allow audiences to fall in love with the Magrath sisters of Hazlehurst, MS.
