On October 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm the Center for Disability Rights (CDR) will host their FREE annual "Accessible Trick-or-Treat" Halloween event. For many children with physical or sensory disabilities, going door-to-door to trick-or-treat may be a challenge, if it is an option at all. CDR converts its office space into a fun, safe and fully accessible "neighborhood." In this environment, children with and without disabilities can come together and enjoy the best part of Halloween. We will be decorating our 22,000 square foot office and children have the opportunity to collect candy, play games to receive prizes, enjoy treats and more!
From 4pm-5pm, early admission is available to children with sensory disabilities; however, you must contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org in advance. You also may contact us if you have a child older than 10 years of age with a disability that would like to attend our event. Our event is scent-free and adult supervision is required; costumes are strongly encouraged!
