Young Entrepreneurs Academy Saunders Scholars Competition

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a groundbreaking and exciting program that transforms local middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Through the year-long program, students in grades 6-12 generate business ideas, conduct market research, write business plans, pitch to a panel of investors, and launch their very own companies.

USA Gymnastics Level 9 Women’s Eastern Championships

USA Gymnastics has many responsibilities, including selecting and training the U.S. Gymnastics Teams for the Olympics and World Championships; promoting and developing gymnastics on the grassroots and national levels; and serving as a resource center for members, clubs, fans and gymnasts throughout the United States. USA Gymnastics also provides continuing education resources for new and experienced coaches and instructors in the sport.

Greater Rochester Eastern Area Tournament (GREAT)

The GREAT bowling tournament is an annual LGBTQ event that has taken place in Rochester for the past 31 years. Each year the event chooses a local charity to benefit from the event, and have raised over $300,000 throughout the years to benefit these charities. This year they have chosen the OUT Alliance to benefit from the tournament. The OUT Alliance is a local organization that works toward a future where all members of the greater Rochester LGBTQ communities, at all stages of their lives, are free to be fully participating citizens, celebrating their lives in which they are safe, stable and fully respected.

NY Association of Future Farmers of America Annual Convention

Over 1,500 FFA members, advisors and honored guests from across the state gather for this annual event to hear inspiring presentations from peers and agricultural professionals, expand their knowledge during workshops and tours by exploring different fields in the agricultural industry, and networking with agricultural business professionals and colleges during the Career Engagement Expo.

ISCRAM 2018 Conference

ISCRAM is a global community of academic researchers and practitioners. The annual international conference is a premier international venue for the dissemination of peer-reviewed research and lessons learned from all aspects of information systems for crisis response and management. Topics of interest to ISCRAM include, but are not limited to: crisis informatics, geographic information systems (GIS), human-computer interaction, humanitarian information management, situation awareness, visual analytics, social media, serious games and more. We are particularly interested in conference participation from students and attendees from developing countries.
